Winning MDM Strategies for 2008-2009 – and Beyond!

When:
June 24th, 2008

In surveys of more than 4,600 individuals conducted for The 2008 Aberdeen Report, 19% of respondents indicated that their organizations are already using MDM. An additional 11% plan to adopt MDM in 2008, with another 19% planning to adopt it in the future. In contrast, 51% of respondents indicated that their organizations have no plans to use MDM at all. However, even organizations with no immediate plans to deploy MDM-specific solutions have needs and plans that MDM policies, processes, strategies, and tools can help to enable or support.

MDM - the creation and management of master or reference data that represents "one version of the truth" - is a critical goal of many business and IT decision-makers. MDM is also a frequent promise of many IT solution vendors. However, success with MDM, as with almost every other business-focused IT initiative, requires a clear starting point, and a clear goal or destination. This Webinar will feature Aberdeen Group research findings and recommendations that will help business decision-makers, their teams and their partners to identify strong candidate starting points for, and relatively rapid and painless paths towards enterprise-wide, multi-form MDM.
