CHICAGO (October 17, 2008) – Initiate Systems, Inc., a leader in master data management (MDM) solutions, announced today that an Initiate executive and two of its customers will be featured as expert speakers Monday, Oct. 20, at the MDM Summit Fall 2008 in New York City.

Alex Bentley, director of platform product management at Initiate Systems, will give a “track” keynote presentation, along with Initiate customer Scott Drummond of Grange Insurance, titled “Best Practices in DG, DQ & Identity Resolution.” Drummond, who works in IT Information Services at Grange Insurance, and Bentley will share insights into the deliverables needed to improve data security and accountability while increasing data consistency.

Bryan Scott, strategic consultant for Humana®, another customer of Initiate, will deliver a case study on “MDM Scalability & Algorithm Best Practices.” This session will explore Humana’s initial MDM challenge and evaluation process, leveraging MDM to meet business needs, and the power of algorithms.

Both sessions will be held Monday, Oct. 20, during the MDM Summit at the Hilton New York. The “track” keynote presentation by Bentley and Drummond is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. EDT. The case study presented by Scott is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. EDT.
